JOIN THE “ELITE” GROUP AND RUN FOR THE PODIUM!

Danang International Marathon invites top-ranking runners in Marathon and Half Marathon category of Vietnam and international road marathons to compete in the beautiful coastal road. Runners who are meet our qualification will receive the race entry with exclusive benefits from the race organizer.

ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS

We have two categories of Dragon runners: Marathon (42K) and Half Marathon (21K).To be listed as a Dragon Runner, you need to have personal record of:
Marathon
  – Male: less than 2 hours 50 minutes
  – Female: less than 3 hours 40 minutes 
Half Marathon
  – Male: less than 1 hour 25 minutes
  – Female: less than 1 hour 35 minutes 

NOTE

  • Dragon Runner is open for both Vietnamese and foreign athletes.
  • Each athlete can only be the Dragon Runner of one category.
  • Your podium result or personal record must be recognized at any official timed road marathon race with a timing system using a timing chip in Vietnam and worldwide between October 25, 2024, and January 31, 2026.

DRAGON RUNNER’S PRIVILEGE

  – A complimentary entry at the Danang International Marathon 2026.
  – The photo and personal record of all Dragon Runners will be shared on our Website. The temporary Top 20 Dragon Runners will be updated monthly on the race’s Fanpage. 
  – The field size for “Dragon Runner” at Starting Line is limited. Only 20 athletes with best records or less will be selected to Start Line of Dragon Runners.

To become the Dragon Runner, leave your submission to join before January 31, 2026.
After the verification, we will contact you via email to confirm your entry.
