Running movements in Danang in particular and Vietnam in general are developing day by day. Each runner is not only running for health, running for passion, but also running for the community and running for sharing.
Throughout the nearly 10-year journey, the race donated funds, contributed to many charities, and supported organizations of vulnerable communities still facing many difficulties in society, with funds coming from the valuable donations of individuals and groups involved in the race.
This meaningful activity will continue this year, with each participant able to run as well as contribute to helping those in need through the Charity slots.

Established in 1988, The Association for the Support of Danang city Handicapped and Orphans has the overall function and mission of protecting and supporting the disabled, orphans and the unfortunate. The organization assists orphans in extremely difficult situations by organizing medical examinations and care, free vocational training, scholarships, and the construction and improvement of housing, as well as organizing constructive labor for orphans, disabled persons, and impoverished children.
Furthermore, the organization contributes to propaganda and mobilization of domestic and international support by studying and sharing information about the organization’s function, structure, type, and method of operation.
Da Nang has over 5,000 Agent Orange victims and over 1,400 children with deformities and disabilities affected by Agent Orange / dioxin sequelae. Danang Association for Agent Orange Victims was established in January 2005, with the desire to fight for justice and unite to assist in the treatment of Agent Orange victims.
From its inception to the present, the Association has been a close friend of the victim, constantly looking for ways to assist the victim, meeting and uniting to enable victims to engage in social activities and integrate into the community. Together, extend international collaboration to make the case against 37 US chemical companies public.
Disabled Person Organization of Danang City is a humanitarian social organization that brings together people with disabilities who live, work, study, and reside (or have a long-term Declaration of Temporary Residence) in Danang, regardless of ethnicity, religion, gender, or social class; according to the motto “Voluntary – Solidarity – Encouragement – Self-reliance – Support each other” and participate in activities of people with disabilities for the rights of people with disabilities to assert themselves, rise in life, help yourself, your family and society.
The Association’s mission is to promote ability and knowledge, as well as to inspire, motivate, support, and create opportunities for people with disabilities to conquer obstacles, engage fairly and completely in all aspects of society to become people who live usefully for themselves, family and society, contributing to the realization of the general goal towards “An inclusive, barrier-free society and for the rights of people with disabilities”.
The Village of Hope (Thanh Khe, Da Nang) is the common name of the Center for Nurturing disadvantaged children in Da Nang city, directly under the Danang Relief Association for Disadvantaged Women and Children. The village helps raise orphans with especially difficult circumstances in the Quang Nam – Da Nang area.
Currently, Hy Vong Village is raising about 120 children. They are raised and sent to school from grade 1 to grade 12 and receive vocational training (carpentry, embroidery, sewing, drawing, computing, etc.) to prepare them for a self-sufficient life after high school. Those who pass the university, college or intermediate exam can continue to raise until graduation.
