Tran Thi Ly Bridge is the first challenge of the race route after marathon/half marathon runners run through the 2km beach side and turn to Nguyen Van Thoai street. This iconic 145 meters high bridge is famous for its unique cable-stayed construction which forms an upside-down capital “Y” and is intended to look like sails facing towards the East Sea. The colours of the pylon and deck of the bridge change in the night sky creating a magic light show on the river.

THUAN PHUOC BRIDGE

Joining the race, runners will have a chance to immerse in majestic dawn of the city on the peak of Thuan Phuoc bridge – a unique point of the race route, where Han river flows to the sea at the Southern Danang bay.

To catch the moment when the mighty sun appears from Son Tra peninsula, Full Marathon and Half Marathon runners are recommended to complete the first 10km from 1 hour to 1:30 hours so that you can be at the top of Thuan Phuoc bridge at 5:30AM. This is the best moment to witness the whole city waking up from the night by the first brilliant sun rays peeking from the horizon.

MY KHE BEACH

From Thuan Phuoc Bridge, runners will run towards My Khe beach at the moment when Da Nang awakens. The city is entering a vibrant new day, the boats from the horizon are also gradually emerging and the sound of the waves is cheering runners on the last kilometers of the race. Let the citizens and volunteers welcome you to the finish line and witness your new records!
